Spirituality Program at Columbia Theological Seminary The Certificate in Spiritual Formation offers to people of all denominations and all stages of life an exploration of spirituality and mission.

The Center for Lifelong Learning offers four leadership programs that lead to certification. Most certification courses are offered on the seminary campus, in Decatur, GA, with scheduling convenient for working participants. There are no academic prerequisites for admission to the programs, and there is no time limit on completion of the coursework. Most courses are open to participants who do not wish to complete a certification program.

Spiritual Direction, also known as spiritual guidance or holy listening, is a sacred companionship between a seeker and a trained guide, grounded in the Divine Love.

This practice offers a safe, prayerful space where the seeker is invited to explore the unfolding mystery of Godโ€™s presence in their life. Through deep listening and discernment, spiritual direction nurtures awareness, fosters spiritual growth, and supports the seeker in embracing their unique path with greater clarity, freedom and grace.
