2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV) Key Verse
He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.

Let's break the stigma of overdosing and bring awareness to this epidemic in our nation! Narcan is a life-saving drug that reverses the effects of narcotics. Did you know Narcan is available without a prescription? if you are at risk for overdosing or have loved ones that are at risk you can get Narcan to have just in case you need it. As long as there is breath there is still hope for change and at Celebrate Recovery we know our hope comes from Jesus Christ! Ask us how you can get Narcan if you need it, for FREE!

đź’ś INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY

Today, August 31, Celebrate Recovery Global joins people around the world in remembering those whose lives have been lost to overdose and praying for the families and friends carrying that grief.

Behind every statistic is a person.

A son. A daughter. A parent. A spouse. A sibling. A friend. Someone’s Forever Family.

Every life matters. Every loss counts. đź’ś

Celebrate Recovery is committed to being part of the solution. Our Opioid Ministry Team, led by Opioid Director Nick Olson, works to increase awareness, education, prevention, and resources surrounding opioid addiction and overdose.

Through the Opioid Advocates, we’re helping communities understand that recovery is possible and lives can be saved.

Carry naloxone/Narcan when appropriate. Learn the signs of an overdose. Have the difficult conversations. Help remove the stigma that keeps people from reaching out for help.

And remind someone today:

Your life has value.
Your story isn't over.
There is hope. ❤️‍🩹

📖 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 NIV

🙏 Jesus, we remember every life lost to overdose and pray for every family carrying that grief. Protect those still struggling and give them courage to reach for help. Help us respond with compassion instead of judgment and use us to bring hope to those who need it most. Amen.

đź’ś EVERY LIFE MATTERS. EVERY LOSS COUNTS. RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE.

Stepping out of your isolation can be scary but we are here to walk through this with you! God said, it isn't good for man to be alone!

DID YOU KNOW ISOLATION CAN BE A HANG-UP?

Sometimes isolation doesn’t look like being completely alone.

Sometimes it looks like saying, “I’m fine,” when you’re not.
Ignoring the phone call.
Pulling away when life gets hard.
Convincing yourself nobody would understand.
Trying to carry everything by yourself.

But recovery was never meant to happen alone.

God created us for connection. There is healing in finally letting someone else know the real you…the struggles, the fears, the failures AND the victories.

You don’t have to disappear when you’re hurting.

Come out of isolation.
Step into community.
Let somebody walk with you.

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find freedom from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that keep us stuck. ❤️‍🔥

Many times it's not about an addiction at all, CR can help with any hurt, hangup or habit!

You don’t have to have an addiction to need Celebrate Recovery.

Sometimes it’s the habits we’ve picked up along the way that are keeping us stuck.

Maybe you…

• Shut down when you’re hurt.
• Avoid difficult conversations.
• Need to be in control.
• Constantly seek approval from others.
• Hold grudges.
• Isolate when life gets hard.
• Use food, shopping, work, social media, or relationships to escape.
• Compare yourself to everyone around you.
• People-please because you’re afraid of disappointing others.
• Sabotage good things when they start getting too close.
• React in anger instead of dealing with what’s underneath it.
• Pretend everything is fine when it isn’t.

You may look at that list and think…

“Wait. I thought Celebrate Recovery was for people with addictions.”

It’s not.

Celebrate Recovery is for hurts, habits, and hang-ups… and most of us have something.

You don’t have to wait until your life falls apart to decide you want something different. 🧡

Come as you are. There’s a seat for you.

It's Testimony Tuesday!!!
Like Chase, do you remember a time in your life when God met you right where you were at, right in the middle of your mess? Was your life forever changed? Praise the Lord we don't have to figure it all out by ourselves but instead we have Jesus to help us!

Choose Him everyday!

Choose Him everyday!

EVEN IF NOT…

Sometimes recovery begins with believing God can change everything.

But somewhere along the way, we learn an even deeper kind of faith…

Even if He doesn’t change it the way I prayed… I will still trust Him.

Even if the relationship isn’t restored.
Even if the apology never comes.
Even if the consequences don’t disappear.
Even if the grief still hurts.
Even if the struggle doesn’t end overnight.
Even if my story looks different than I thought it would…

I will still choose God.

That’s surrender.

Recovery isn’t a promise that God will give us the outcome we want. It’s learning that He is still good, still faithful, and still worthy when the outcome isn’t what we wanted.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed God was able to rescue them from the fire…

“But even if He does not…” Daniel 3:18

That kind of faith will change your recovery.

🔥 God, I know You can… but EVEN IF NOT, I’m still Yours.
