Church Arise

Located across from the Shell station in Decatur, MS. EVERYONE is welcome!!! Don't worry about dressing up. The pastor preaches in jeans. We serve the living God.

We are a non-denomniational, multi-racial, new testament church. We believe that Jesus is the son of God. We believe he died, was buried and rose again on the third day. We believe that the only way to heaven is the Grace of Jesus through faith. We do not believe in denominational separations. We do not believe in "traditional church" formaility, rules, or secular ties.

Saturday- The cross is empty but the tomb is full. The Disciples hide. The Jews observe their sabbath. The Roman soldiers guard the tomb. Heaven and earth hold their breath as the sun sets on Golgotha.

This soldier came by church last night all the way from Germany. If you look hard enough you can see his 10 year old self singing “I saw the light” on stage back there… so many years ago. Proud of the man he has become.
