In 2 Corinthians 10:12-13, we’re reminded that it’s not wise to compare ourselves with others. Why would we want to be anyone but the person God made us to be? God doesn’t make mistakes, and he made each of us special and one of a kind for a reason.

Here are some tips to help kids growing up in the social media generation remember their own value, just as they are:

Celebrate your child's hard work and unique God created gifts!
Encourage them to try new things, even if the are hard at first!
Help your child USE their gifts and time to serve others- make cards, help neighbors!

CrossRoads Kids learned about living with TRUE JOY last week. Living out Paul's words can be a challenge BUT Philippians 2 reminds us to " rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God... And I want all of you to share that joy. 18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy!" As followers of Jesus we live with joy NO MATTER WHAT!

Go Outside & Learn About God!
There’s a Bible story about a man named Job who went through a really rough time. His friends argued with him about God, but Job told them they didn’t understand how wise and powerful God is. He said they would learn more about God by looking at the animals, birds, flowers, and fish. Job reminded them that God’s creation can teach us a lot about who he is.

Here’s the challenge: go outside and learn something new about GOD!😀

Jesus,
Thank You for keeping Your promises. When fear
creeps into my thoughts, remind me that You are
faithful. Help me trust You with my children, my
choices, and my future. Steady my heart and
strengthen my faith to live with faith not fear!
