New Blog Post – Paul’s Prayer Request (2 Thessalonians 3:1-2)

While Paul often describes praying for others, he was not above requesting his own prayer needs. This reflects a variety of things, such as humility and dependence on the Lord. What exactly did Paul ask for prayer for? In his second letter to the Thessalonians, we discover two specific prayer requests.

In Pastor Steven’s latest blog, we will look at what specifically was on Paul’s prayer request list.

New Blog Post – Eagerly Awaiting (Philippians 3:20)

Christians are exhorted throughout the New Testament to eagerly await the Lord’s return. While we do not know exactly when He will return, it is certain that one day He will. While imprisoned in Rome, Paul exhorts the Philippians to eagerly await the return of their Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Pastor Steven’s latest blog, we will look at what Paul meant by “eagerly awaiting” the Lord’s return.

New Blog Post – Paul’s Three Foundations (Acts 24:14-16)

Who we are as people matters far more than what we do. What we believe, why we believe it, and how we live each day are the important foundations of our lives. After his arrest in Jerusalem, Paul appeared before the Roman governor, Antonius Felix. Yet rather than defending himself, Paul described the three key foundations of his life.

In his latest blog post, Pastor Steven looks at each of these three to learn what governed Paul’s heart and controlled how he conducted himself.

“And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any.” Matthew 22:16 It is no secret that Jesus had His share of enemies. Two of the most prominent...

“And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory.” — Ezekiel 43:2

For those who asked about Sunday’s message, this is the passage Pastor Pace referenced. Ezekiel’s vision of the Lord’s glory, especially His voice “like the sound of many waters," beautifully parallels Revelation 1:15, where the same description is used of Jesus.

This reminds us that the glory and majesty of God revealed in the Old Testament is the same glory we see in Christ.

Grace and peace.
