We're simple and laidback. When we put the concept of Vintage Faith Church together some years ago, we pictured a church where people and faith were like an antique store—a little quaint and a little damaged. We wanted faith to be simple as a concept, but not easy like cheap grace. We wanted to gather people who felt cracked and broken, but of great value. Not that we should remain damaged, but be

come—like a fine piece of furniture—restored. So Vintage Faith seemed an apt name for such a church in such a vintage setting. We recently bought the church where we meet, and we are slowly remodeling it. So come visit us. We think you will like what you experience. Our band is one of the best kept secrets in Decatur. They are very upbeat and lively, but not over-the-top. We like simple worship without all of the modern accouterments. If you are looking for a church without all of the commercialism and without the dark auditoriums and smoke screens, then you will love us. We keep the lights on and adore our reverent atmosphere. Our pastor is a writer with numerous published books. He is a one-of-a-kind pastor that preaches to the heart and soul of our congregation. We love him and know you will as well.
