About this time today we’d usually be leaving church to go home or head to lunch . While today is different, we hope you’ve still felt God’s presence right where you are. Whether your house is busy and full or quiet, you are loved and prayed for.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1

• Preschool: Ask your child, "What is something God made that you can see today?
• Elementary: Ask, “What part of God’s creation did you notice today, and what does it tell you about Him?”

Due to icy weather and hazardous road conditions, all services and activities at First Baptist Decatur are canceled tomorrow, January 25th. We will also close the church office on Monday, January 26th.

The safety of our church family is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to remain at home. While we will miss being together, we encourage you to take this time to rest, spend time in prayer, and worship as a family or individually.

Please stay safe and warm. If you need assistance, please reach out to us. We look forward to gathering again soon.

What an amazing night! We had so much fun celebrating, laughing, and learning about Jesus with the best kids and leaders around!

We’ll miss our Wednesday nights for a bit, but we still have Kids Church this Sunday, and we’d love to see your families at our Christmas Eve services at 3:00 & 5:00.

Wednesday nights kick back off January 7, we can’t wait!

With all the school dress-up days lately, you’ve already got everything you need — feel free to reuse, mix, and match!
PJs, sweaters, and festive favorites are welcome — church-appropriate and play-friendly.

🚌 KREW parents: Feel free to pack festive items in their backpack — we’ll give them time to change once they arrive at church.

Get creative — Christmas PJs, ugly sweaters, elves, reindeer, sparkle, or anything festive! We’ll have games and a fun festive outfit contest.
