Church is the oldest African American church in DeKalb County and is actively involved in the Decatur community “saving the lost and transforming the found” into Christian disciples. As we seek to uplift the community through our worship service, bible study, prayer and the various ministries of the church, we develop a bond with our members and visitors who visit, participate or experience the love we share. Hours of Operation: Free Church School Breakfast begins at 8:45 a.m., followed by Church School at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesdays. We invite everyone to come and fellowship with us! Church School classes are available for all ages (including adults, children, youth, and teenagers) each Sunday. "Kids Hour of Power" (or childrens' church) takes place each Sunday during the worship service for children ages 2-8! If you are in need of a ride to church school, please ask for details about our church van! American explorer Ron Wyatt claimed to have discovered the lost Ark of the Covenant in a chamber beneath Jerusalem, directly below Golgotha, the site of Jesus’ crucifixion. He reported finding an earthquake crack extending into the chamber, which he linked to Matthew 27:51: “The earth shook, and the rocks were split.”

Inside, he claimed to have found the Ark of the Covenant alongside other sacred Temple furnishings. Most remarkably, Wyatt alleged that Christ’s blood had flowed through the crack onto the Ark’s Mercy Seat. He claimed laboratory tests revealed that the dried blood was still alive and contained just 24 chromosomes instead of the usual 46.
