Grace Fellowship Church - Week 5 - 2 Peter 2:10-16

In this sermon on 2 Peter 2:10-16, Pastor BJ Strobel continues Peter’s warning against false teachers by examining their character, motivations, and destructive influence within the church. Peter exposes their arrogance, spiritual pride, greed, and sensuality, revealing how they twist the truth of God’s Word to deceive others and satisfy their own sinful desires. Through the example of Balaam, who forsook the right path for worldly gain, believers are reminded of the dangers of compromising God’s truth and the certainty of His judgment upon those who lead His people astray.

In this sermon on 2 Peter 2:1-10, Pastor Tim Garland warns believers about the dangers of false teachers who distort the truth of God's Word and lead people away from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Peter exposes how destructive teachings, often driven by greed and sinful desires, can deceive many and bring dishonor to the name of Christ. Christians are called to exercise discernment, remain grounded in Scripture, and hold firmly to the truth that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
