Holy Trinity Parish We worship Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (10:30 a.m. is also live streamed on our website, facebook live, and our YouTube channel).

See our website for details. Holy Trinity is an Episcopal church guided by the core ministries of Worship, Christian Formation, and Outreach. Worship at Holy Trinity seeks to be emotionally supportive, intellectually challenging and spiritually enriching. Our intent is to encourage one another in the faith and communicate clearly that God is love. We believe that the grace of God creates, sustains and redeems the world. Discovering, celebrating and sharing the love of God is what we believe we are sent forth to do. In this sense worship is very much connected with our daily lives. Whether sharing meals at Hagar’s House in downtown Decatur, striding in the Hunger Walk in downtown Atlanta, or building a roof in Honduras on a service trip, Holy Trinity parishioners participate in a wide and meaningful array of service. Christian Formation at Holy Trinity is education and growth in fulfilling Christian discipleship. We have Christian Formation classes for adults, youth, and children.

Names of the Faithful Departed for All Saints Sunday

As part of Holy Trinity’s observance of the Feast of All Saints and our commemoration of All Souls, the names of the faithful departed will be read aloud during the services. The list of names will include those parishioners who have died, those people who have been buried through Holy Trinity, and those in our extended parish family who have died since last year’s remembrance. If you wish to add a name of someone who has died recently or one whose death has a special significance for you, please email Communication Minister Amanda Vaughn, or call the church office at 404.377.2622 and leave the information, no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26 (this is a firm deadline and cannot be extended).

Keeping the Feast: St. Luke
October 19

Mo. Ellen, Fr. Greg, and Fr. Rhett break into your day to keep the feast. They'll read scripture, discuss, and pray on this Feast Day.

The Collect for the Feast of St. Luke
Almighty God, who inspired your servant Luke the physician to set forth in the Gospel the love and healing power of your Son: Graciously continue in your Church this love and power to heal, to the praise and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
