Creator,
we give you thanks for all that you are and all that you
bring to us within your creation.

In Jesus, you placed the Gospel in
the Center of the Sacred Circle through
which all creation is related.
You show us the way to live a generous and compassionate life.
Give us your strength to live together with respect and commitment as we grow in your spirit, for you are God, now and forever. Amen.

The 65th annual Oak Grove Barbecue is Saturday October 17th and you’re invited to buy tickets to give to friends, neighbors, and co-workers AND to VOLUNTEER for the Barbecue. We will also have the Craft Sale and Bake Sale from the United Women in Faith.

All proceeds go to support our local mission partner agencies and neighbors in need.

The Grace of Giving: Finding Belonging with BJ Flowers

��During the month of October, we encourage you to prayerfully discern how God is inviting and calling you to respond to the Stewardship Campaign, “the Grace of Giving.” Your next step might be to move from occasional giving to a regular practice. You might choose a percentage of your income as a guide or decide to grow from where you are by increasing what you already give. There is no single faithful response for everyone. What matters is that we make the decision intentionally, prayerfully, and with gratitude for what God has blessed and entrusted to us.
�As a part of this Stewardship campaign, you can fill out a pledge card in person and give it to the church office, our finance office, or our executive director. ��You can fill out an electronic pledge at ogumc.org/stewardship

We are designating Sunday October 25th as Commitment Sunday where we will pray over our pledges and offerings on that day.
