🌿Walking-by-Faith Wednesday 🌿

Good Morning Christians!🌞
A morning read for today’s journey with God.

"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord." — Psalm 27:14

What are you waiting on today? What are you waiting for?

So often we pray and then immediately start looking for an answer. Sometimes we become impatient and mistake the first opportunity, the first relationship, the first job offer, or the first open door as God's answer. But every open door isn't God's door, and every delay isn't God's denial.

Waiting on God requires faith, trust, and spiritual maturity. It means believing that His timing is better than ours, even when we don't understand the process. God doesn't just answer prayers—He prepares us while we wait.

How do you know if God has answered your prayer? His answer will align with His Word, bring peace instead of confusion, and draw you closer to Him rather than farther away. God's voice may not always be loud, but it is always consistent with His character.

The real question is: Do you know God's voice well enough to recognize it when He speaks?

Today, don't rush ahead of God. Wait with expectation, listen with intention, and trust His perfect plan. The God who hears your prayers is the same God who knows exactly when and how to answer them.

✨ Wait well. Trust deeply. Listen carefully. Wisdom-filled Wednesday! ✨

🌞🙌🏽Thank Him Tuesday! Get up Saints!

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:3

If we had all the money, the big house, the luxury cars, influence, and a circle full of friends, would we still seek God with the same passion? Would we still pray first, trust Him completely, and acknowledge that every blessing comes from His hand?

Matthew 5:3 reminds us that true wealth is found in recognizing our need for God. No amount of success can replace His presence, and no earthly treasure compares to the riches of His grace.

Today, thank God not only for what He has given you, but for keeping you humble enough to know that you still need Him. 🙏🏽💜

👔👒 What a time we had together on Tacky Sunday!

As Pastor Durwin L. Paul often reminds us, “Laughter is like medicine,” and today the members of Mount Patmos and First Comfort received a healthy dose! 😄

From mismatched colors and wild patterns to creative outfits that could only be described as fashionably unforgettable, everyone came ready to have fun and fellowship. Our members truly showed us what it means to be a Tacky Day Fashionista! 🤩✨

Thank you to everyone who participated and brought smiles, laughter, and joy to the service. It’s moments like these that remind us that while we worship together, we can also enjoy one another and celebrate the gift of Christian fellowship.

Today we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and salute those who continue to serve and protect our nation daily. May we never take their courage, dedication, and selflessness for granted.

As ambassadors of Christ, let us stand together for righteousness, honor, justice, equality, and love for one another. May we walk in unity, pray for our nation, and remain thankful for both the freedoms we enjoy and the God who sustains us through it all.
