A Message From Our DR Team

Thank You Westmeade for Praying for Us in the Dominican Republic

We are in the DR until Friday, June 26. Yesterday, we worshipped in the Juan Dolio church. Afterwards, we were in the Village Churches of Los Fundos and Paloma where we taught a Bible Study class to the children and then passed out food bags. We also had the special privilege to pray with each family.

Our team here greatly appreciates your prayers as we continue to serve the people in the DR and share Jesus in the ways that the Lord provides and directs! We love you all and look forward to sharing what God is doing in the DR!

The Westmeade Women's Ministry is hosting a fun-filled evening for your kids while you enjoy a few kid-free hours! We'll have games, activities, pizza, snacks, and lots of fun in a safe, loving environment.

Please join us in praying for our students and leaders as they spend the next five days at Generate Camp near Chattanooga.

Pray that God will work powerfully in their hearts, deepen their faith, strengthen friendships, and draw them closer to Jesus. Also pray for safe travels, good health, and wisdom for the leaders as they invest in our students throughout the week.

We look forward to hearing all that God does during their time away!

What an incredible week we experienced at VBS! We are so grateful for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, talents, and love to make this year’s VBS such a special success.

From decorating and registration to teaching, crafts, games, snacks, nursery and music, each person played an important role in helping our children learn more about Jesus. Your faithful service made an eternal impact on the lives of so many boys and girls.

Throughout the week, we were reminded of the wonderful truth found in John 8:12, where Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” What a joy it was to watch children discover that Jesus is the Light of the World and that His light shines in our lives every day.
Thank you for serving with joyful hearts and for helping point the next generation to Christ. We praise God for all He accomplished during VBS and are thankful for each volunteer who made it possible.

Family Meeting This Sunday

Please join us for our next Family Meeting on Sunday, June 7, at 5:00 PM in the Sanctuary. We will gather for a meaningful time of prayer, Bible study, and church business, followed by an ice cream social in the Upper Room.

As members of our church family, these meetings are an important part of our shared commitment to the life and ministry of our church. We encourage every church member to make attendance a priority as we seek the Lord together, celebrate what He is doing among us, and participate in the decisions that impact our church family.

If you are able, please bring homemade ice cream to share! Ice cream may be dropped off in the Upper Room at 4:45 PM.

We look forward to spending this special evening together.

💐 Happy Mother’s Day from Westmeade Baptist Church! 💐

Tomorrow, we look forward to celebrating all of the wonderful moms and mother figures in our church family!

As a small token of our love and appreciation, every mom in attendance will receive a special gift at the conclusion of the worship service. We will also have a Mother’s Day photo backdrop set up in so you can capture a sweet memory with your family and friends. Both of these will be located in the elevator lobby.

We are thankful for the love, strength, sacrifice, and encouragement that mothers bring into our lives each and every day. We can’t wait to see with you tomorrow! 💕

Make plans now to come support our Westmeade KidsPraise this Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in the Upper Room!

Our children have been working hard and are excited to share their musical program, O Chicken Of Little Faith, with our church family.

This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage and celebrate what God is doing in the hearts of our kids as they use their gifts to lead us in worship and storytelling. Your presence means so much to them!
