God planted The River in this place for a purpose.

We’re here to love our neighbors, make disciples, raise up leaders, and send people out with the gospel.

We’re grateful for the place God has given us—but the church was never meant to stay inside these walls.

Growing together into the likeness of Christ.
Multiplying for the sake of the Kingdom.

There’s so much competing for our attention—doubts, distractions, and the pressure to do more. Jesus invites us to come away into the quiet and find rest for our souls.

What a joy to celebrate Jonathan and Ava today! ❤️

We gathered after worship for a wedding shower, shared a meal, and had the privilege of praying over them as they prepare for marriage and for the ministry God has ahead of them.

Jonathan has been serving as our church planting resident, and next year he and Ava will be sent out to plant The Church at the Sycamores right here in Decatur.

We’re grateful to walk alongside them in this season. Would you join us in praying for Jonathan and Ava—for their marriage, their ministry, and for all the people God will reach through The Church at the Sycamores? 🌳🙏

Comparison might make us feel better about ourselves, but it can’t make us right with God.

Jesus’ message in Luke 13 is urgent: Stop looking around and look to Him. Repent and believe.

You can’t justify yourself—but Jesus can save you.
