What do we do when following God leads us into uncertainty?

In Genesis 13, Abram shows us what it looks like to follow in faith, stand firm in testing, and surrender the outcome to God’s providence.

Watch Jonathan’s sermon from Genesis 13 here:

In Genesis 13, Abram faces a different kind of test. After a season of scarcity and failure in Egypt, he returns to the altar — and this time the test comes ...

God sees you in the waiting.

When the road feels uncertain and obedience feels costly, keep following Jesus. He is faithful in the wilderness, and He alone can bring about your deepest joy and flourishing.

Stand firm. Surrender to His will. Follow Him into the unknown.

Jesus never treated compassion like an interruption.

In Mark 3, Jesus saw a man in need—and while others stayed silent, Jesus moved toward him with mercy. May we have hearts that do the same.

Yesterday we had an incredible church planting panel at The River with Pastor Cliff, Pastor Scott, and Jonathan.

We talked about multiplication, church planting in Decatur, replanting in Augusta, and our vision to be part of 25 new church plants over the next 10 years.

Watch the full conversation and pray with us as we ask God to raise up more workers for the harvest. https://youtu.be/nn6rZQKUoC8

Why plant another church just a few miles down the road?

Because people are spiritually curious, searching for hope, and asking for the gospel. We’re praying for God to raise up mature disciples who will go, reach the lost, and make disciples in Decatur.

Are you happy… or just distracted?

Isaiah 5 warns us that it’s possible to chase pleasure, entertainment, and escape while completely missing the one thing that leads to true joy: the work of God.

Don’t settle for empty amusement.

Dwell on the finished work of Jesus for you.
