Taking a spiritual inventory means honestly examining the areas of life that matter most:

Your Mind – What thoughts are guiding your actions?

Your Body – Are you caring for yourself in healthy ways?

Your Family – Where can healing, forgiveness, or growth take place?

Your Church – Are you connected and growing in your faith community?

God doesn’t reveal these areas to condemn us—He reveals them so He can transform us. Recovery begins with honesty and continues through His grace.

Recovery means choosing hard things every single day. It’s hard to be honest. Hard to let go. Hard to forgive. Hard to heal. Hard to keep going when everything in you wants to quit.

But Scripture never says we walk through hard things alone.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13

God often does His greatest work in the moments when we feel weakest. Every step of obedience, every meeting attended, every prayer whispered, every temptation resisted — those are victories.

Doing the hard thing today may be the very thing God uses to bring freedom tomorrow. Keep going. God is strengthening you even now.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13 🇺🇸

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service and sacrifice for others. Their courage reminds us that love is often shown through sacrifice, strength, and perseverance.

For those walking the road of recovery, Memorial Day can also be a reminder that freedom is precious — not only the freedom we enjoy as a nation, but the freedom found one day at a time from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Healing takes courage too.

May we honor those who gave everything by living with gratitude, hope, and purpose, and by continuing to fight for the freedom that recovery brings.

God’s presence is not dependent on our circumstances. In the middle of uncertainty, loneliness, fear, or change, His promise still stands:

‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ — Hebrews 13:5

People may walk away. Seasons may shift. Life may feel unstable. But God remains faithful, steady, and near.

No matter what this week holds, you do not walk into it empty-handed.

God fills us with hope, peace, and joy — not because life is easy, but because He is faithful.

When anxiety rises, choose trust. When exhaustion hits, lean on His strength. When the future feels uncertain, remember your hope comes from Him.

Take a deep breath, keep moving forward, and let hope lead the way this week.

When the storm rages, the waves feel high, and fear tries to take over — keep your eyes on Jesus.

Peter only began to sink when he focused on the wind instead of the One who was holding him. The storm may be loud, but God’s voice is greater.

Faith doesn’t mean the storm disappears immediately. It means we trust that Jesus is still walking on the water beside us.

Yesterday we dove into honestly examining our hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Here are the 4 key areas to evaluate:

Relationships: Who has hurt you? Are you holding onto grudges?

Priorities: Is Christ first in your life, or are distractions taking over?

Attitude: Are you harboring bitterness, anger, or ungratefulness?

Integrity: Does your daily walk actually match your talk?

Keep it balanced! Write down your character strengths and victories alongside the struggles. You don't have to do this alone!
