We’ve never been more connected, yet we’re lonelier than ever. We’ve never been more entertained, yet at the same time bored. We’re at our most comfortable, but also our most restless.

Could Christianity offer a way of seeing the world that offers us meaning and hope? Can Christianity actually…satisfy? Join us at The Garden for four nights of conversation, discussion, and space for your questions.

How did we get the Bible? Why should we trust it? And how does God actually use it to change us?

As part of our “Rooted to Grow” focus this year, this session will center on Scripture: how we received it, why we can trust it, and how God uses it to shape and strengthen His people.

Together, we’ll explore how the Bible was recognized and preserved, how the church has historically understood its authority, and how the Lord uses His Word in the ordinary means of grace to grow us in Christ. This will be an accessible and practical evening, meant to build confidence in God’s Word and help you engage it more faithfully in your daily life.

Whether you’re newer to the faith or simply want to strengthen your foundation, this gathering is for you. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow.

At this time, the weather forecast for Decatur shows temperatures staying above freezing until later tomorrow afternoon. With that in mind, we plan to have our full, normal schedule tomorrow morning.
As always, please use good judgment and make sure you’re able to travel safely. Our livestream will be available for anyone who needs to stay home.
We look forward to worshiping together, Lord willing.
