Thanks to everyone who came out for Sunday Funday! Between the bounce houses, hot dogs, bingo, temporary tattoos, and seeing so many families together, it was one of our favorite afternoons yet.

One confession… we were having so much fun that we forgot to hand out the Bomb Pops. 😅 So we’re fixing that next Sunday! Stick around after church for a red, white, and blue Bomb Pop as we keep the celebration going.

Please join us in praying for Venezuela and all those affected by the earthquakes last night.

We pray for families as they grieve the loss of loved ones, and that God will bring healing and hope to the community. We pray for safety for the search and rescue teams as they respond. We pray for resources and support for the ministries that will step in to meet physical and spiritual needs. And we pray for the churches of the Venezuela Baptist Convention who are mobilizing locally to minister to those affected.

We'll continue to share updates from our Send Relief partners throughout the weekend about how you can help meet specific needs.

Oramos por las familias que hoy sufren la pérdida de sus seres queridos, y pedimos que Dios traiga sanidad, consuelo y esperanza a la comunidad. Oramos por la protección de los equipos de búsqueda y rescate mientras responden a esta emergencia. Oramos para que haya recursos y apoyo suficientes para los ministerios que estarán atendiendo las necesidades físicas y espirituales de los afectados. También oramos por las iglesias de la Convención Bautista de Venezuela, que se están movilizando localmente para servir y ministrar a quienes han sido impactados por esta tragedia.

We can’t wait to worship together this Sunday and take a few moments during our service to honor moms and the mother figures who have helped shape our lives. It’s going to be a special day together.

P.S. We won’t have our usual lunch hosted by this Sunday, but we’ll resume again on May 17th. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements about what we have planned ahead.
