About U.N.I:

U.N.I is a committee at the Islamic Center of America that will be structuring and hosting Islamic-related programs and events based on the interests of the community, relatable societal matters, and inspirational lessons from the prominent figures of Islam. U.N.I promotes unification, collaboration, and enlightenment on the wide array of topics found in Islamic literature and teach

ings. This is an organization for the community and it is being built on the basis of creating an open, judgment-free atmosphere for community members of all ages and society at-large.

Backpacks have been provided, and we are now working to fill them with essential school supplies so students can begin the year prepared.

📚 Collection Dates: Now through August 21
📍 Drop-Off Location: Islamic Center of America

We are collecting:
• Pencils
• Crayons
• Markers
• Notebooks
• Pencil pouches
• And more!

There will be a partial solar eclipse tomorrow, August 12 in the afternoon. During this event Salat Al-Ayat is Wajib (mandatory). The time of Salat Al-Ayat sets in when the signs of the eclipse begin, at approximately 1:03 pm, and goes until the eclipse is over, approximately 2:08 pm. The peak (most recommended time to offer the salat) will be at 1:36pm Insha’Allah. If missed, it should be offered as Qada.

Please Note: These times are specific to the Dearborn/ Dearborn Heights Area.
