St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church (Michigan) St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church was established in 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church was established in 1942 in Detroit, Michigan.

Its current location on Ford Road, Dearborn, MI was dedicated on October 14, 1962 and since then it bestows spiritual and national needs of the Armenians in Eastern Michigan, and is one of the Churches of the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America under jurisdiction of the Holy See of Cilicia. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church is located on a campus which also includes the Armenian Com

munity Center, a parochial school and a Armenian Senior Citizens Towers. Today, Armenians can boast of a community that is highly educated, professional and prospering. Armenians are continuing to preserve their rich culture and identity and are loyal citizens. Awareness and remembrance of a proud and fantastic history have bound the Armenian people as their language, culture and tradition still thrives.

Our fourth and final day of Datevig Camp was filled with bittersweet goodbyes as we celebrated an unforgettable week together!
We began our final morning with a beautiful prayer service led by our teens, who led the prayers and hymns. We then wrapped up our crafts and prayer journals before ending the morning with some exciting Minute to Win It games!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the first year of Datevig Camp such a meaningful and successful experience. We are so grateful for the memories, laughter, faith, and friendships that were shared throughout the week. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! ❤️
