Deadwood’s historic Mount Moriah Cemetery includes such notables as Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock, Potato Creek Johnny, Preacher Smith (Henry Weston Smith), Harris and Anna Franklin, Dora DuFran and her parrot Fred. Stop by for a self-guided tour where you’ll learn about some of Deadwood’s most interesting characters!
Open year-round. $2 entrance fee. Funds generated from the entrance fee help with ongoing maintenance and preservation of the cemetery.
