First Baptist Church of Victoria, MO Maranatha Baptist Church (formerly First Baptist Church of Victoria, MO) is a place to learn truth! We have by-laws, but we govern by the Bible.

The First Baptist Church of Victoria is built, like the Bible says, based upon the model of the family and NOT upon the model of a business. We are incorporated as the law requires, but we do not run a corporation. We have meetings, but not business meetings, we have family meetings. Additionally, we do not have any use for Robert's Rules of Order because our behavior is governed by the Word of God. We are a real church family and we face the good times and the bad times like a family. We love each other and we do not seek to introduce business methods or corporate structure into the church. The church is not to be run and managed like a business and we refuse the world's influence in the pews. If you are looking for a place with a warm welcome and the study of God's Word is also an act of worship, come and see what we are all about.
