CView HS & MS youth groups want your jeans. Yeah, that's right. We are participating in a very specific event that helps provide shoes for kids in Uganda; the denim provides the material for those shoes. You can find out more about the crippling problems associated with parasites entering through bare feet: www.solehope.org We were alerted to this issue through the family of a couple of our students; we thought: we can help! Please drop off your gently-used, adult-sized, non-stretchy jeans at Crossview before July 1. Thank you!

MS YG is discussing how to deepen our Spiritual Friendships, so last night we asked for their Top 10 Tips on How to Make Friends. Here are a few tips from the different small groups that may help you:
+Be yourself & be honest about who you are.
+Awkwardly walk around and ask people questions.
+Do the opposite of what Max does.
+Just be nice.
+Give compliments: "You're awesome! Wanna be friends?"
+Inch closer and closer and closer, and then say, "I love you."
+Be confident in who you are and know that you're worthy of friendship.
+Lock eyes and never, ever blink.
+Make sure they are not fascist.
+Be relatable.
+Ask: Do you know Jesus Christ?
+Steal something of theirs to give back to them later.
+Leave notes on their locker.
+Neighborhood playdates.
