We recently hosted the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Beginning Farm Management class designed for junior and senior with a strong interest in operating their own business in the future. Students represented 11 different school districts in SW WI.

Curious as a cat , big as an ox! This 5 th lacatation cow 7 year old peaked at 135 #. 5.9 BF. 3.9 Protein and maintained a SCC of around 10. Love these cows!!

Our last field trip before we wrap up classes for the term next week was to Wall-Stone Holsteins. So much technology on one farm, we are lucky to be able to learn from leaders in the industry. Thank you for hosting us.

Uniformity… It’s such a pleasure to look across the backs of these cows and see how consistent they are. This is an entire pen of first calf heifers.
