Believers are at their very best when they are giving because that’s when they are most like God and others can see Christ in them. Why is that so? Because as children of the King, believers bear the image of God their Father and the character quality of his generosity is displayed through them for all to see.
God is an unmatched giver and always has been. Every gift he gives displays his love to us, but no gift shows the depth of it more than the sacrificial giving up of his Son Jesus for our sins. This gift, with perfect clarity, sheds light on God‘s heart towards us—the absolute fathomless, immeasurable depth of love that he has for you and I—no matter what we’ve done or been through. And we are eternally “refreshed” because of it.
It is no wonder that today’s text highlights generosity. This character quality of God is found all throughout the scriptures and is far richer than we could ever imagine beneath its surface. And generosity from within us—whether it’s time, financial assistance, acts of service, or just listening to someone, points right back to the greatest Giver himself.
Are you willing to bear his image by being generous towards others? God even promises a blessing to you if you are, as you will be “refreshed” when you “refresh” others.

Today’s MILKSHAKE:
Jeremiah 31:3

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (NIV)

Today’s text speaks of God‘s love for us, but only scratches the surface on the depth of that love. Jeremiah writes that God‘s love for us is immense and we have personally been drawn to him with his “unfailing kindness”.
The word used by Jeremiah for God‘s unfailing kindness is “hesed” and is a word that is not truly translatable as there are not enough descriptive adjectives nor definitive understanding of God to grasp how great his love is for us. His loving nature; his kindness, mercy, goodness, etc. is indescribable and we are too small to comprehend it.
“Hesed” is a word that describes one who absolutely expects zero from a King, but then the King gives them everything—including his entire kingdom! But even that does not describe the depth of God’s love for us.
Isaiah also wrote about this deep love of God as well, saying “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49:15 NIV). Isaiah states that a mother would totally forget about her baby nursing in her arms before God would forget about those he loves.
In light of God’s “hesed” love for us, any negative thoughts that may creep into ours hearts and minds no longer have a legitimate place to stay. The feeling of being abandoned, neglected, unloved, forsaken, or ignored, disappear when we remember that there is a God who loves us with an indescribable love that we cannot understand.
Be optimistic today and lift your eyes up with hope, as your heart responds to God’s “hesed” love towards you. Because you are loved beyond your wildest imagination!

Today’s text is a call for each one of us to daily fix our thoughts on Jesus; to give more than only passing attention to all that he has done for us. Now, to “fix our thoughts” is literally translated from the Greek “to give diligent and continuous attention to”. But to what or whom we might ask? Jesus of course.
Diligent and continuous attention can lead to lifestyle changes, therefore the writer of Hebrews reminds us to continually discipline ourselves to keep our thoughts and ambitions on Jesus, so that our lives and lifestyles are all about him and his glory.
Life is incomparably richer and far more abundant with Christ at the center. Whether walking through hardships or rejoicing in blessings, we are able to share the experience with our Savior—who understands both completely. Pity goes out to the atheist who has no one to cry to for help, as well as no one to thank in joyful, realized times of blessings.
Keep your thoughts on Jesus to realign your attitudes, goals, and priorities each day—restoring your joy and giving you hope. Will you allow your thoughts to be fixed on Jesus today?

James 4:14

“What is your life?
You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” (NIV)

James touches on in part, the philosophy of many held by the younger generation today. Their theme is “YOLO” (You Only Live Once), so do not be afraid to get crazy and do the absurd, with little thought of consequences—a very dangerous way to approach life and eternity. However, James also reminds us that life is very short and precious and should not be frivolously wasted.
It is important to find a passion and pursue it, making your life count and using it to further God‘s kingdom while you are still on this earth. But may your life philosophy not be a form of YOLO or “acceptable hedonism”, where you seek the pleasures and comforts of your surroundings while living a casual Christian life. May you instead adopt a life that Isaiah wrote of when he stated, “Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desires of our hearts” (Isaiah 26:8 NIV).
Include in all of your desires and pursuits Jesus; his name and his renown, because that is where you will find contentment, purpose, and peace when commingled with your passions.

The people of Menasha Wisconsin lost a lot of possessions, some almost/ everything.

GOD WAS AND IS SEEN WORKING THROUGH, AND IN MULTITUDES OF PEOPLE (AND FAMILIES) TO LET THE RESIDENTS of MENASHA WISCONSIN KNOW THEY MATTER:

👑Nikki, the General Manager of the Moto station in Menasha.
At the beginning of the tornado last Monday, saw a woman pounding on the entrance glass door, trying to get into the building. The Tornado hit without warning.
(Nikki, caught sight of the roofing over Moto pumps being pulled off as though it were a bottle cap).
👑In the midst of that visual, Nikki ran to the door. In pulling this woman into the gas station. The women's shoes were ripped off by the wind draft of the Tornado.
Nikki then, assembled everyone to the back of the building. Immediately, the ceiling was starting to come in.
👑 AN ACT OF GOD, CARING FOR THIS WOMAN'S LIFE, THROUGH NIKKI.
Nikki, in the midst of this rescue, Thank God, received only a hand injury.
👑This account was given by her daughter Alexis, (Iowa State bound-this month). Nelson, a friend of Alexis, and I discussed how God worked through Alexis' Mom; also, sharing the Importance of Trusting Jesus in our lives for eternity.
👑Giving the equivalence of Noah preaching for 100 years, the reason Why he was building an Ark in the desert; and the reason for receiving Jesus as Savior(Our Ark For All Eternity).
We All Prayed for Nikki, Alexis, and Nelson, where Alexis was working on Sunday.

👑 Pastor Andy Cruz-Lillegard, of Saint Thomas Episcopal/Anglican, His Wife Theresa, their Son's Wyatt and Christopher, and His Wife Jazmine, worked tirelessly: 80+/+ hours from the time of the Tornado last Monday, into Saturday Evening, They made certain the people of Menasha, in their geographical sphere of influence, had water, food, fruit. They did daily barbecues, in the midst of not having electrical power. Multiple volunteers jumped aboard their sustaining rescue mission.
👑ANDY CRUZ-LILLEGARD Believes that this is only The First Fruits of God's Goodness being shown through The Body of Christ.
He believes WE CAN EXPECT MORE from OUR FATHER, ALMIGHTY GOD.

PROVIDENCE OF GOD.
👑 Pastor Brian Nejedlo heard, and read of Sam's, Last Sunday, in Appleton COMMITMENT to Jesus Christ.
Brian was made aware that Sam attended a Bible Study in Menasha, Thursday, and, that Sam's Desired More of God.
Brian followed up with Sam.
👑 Sam Was in Marion Bible Church, Sunday.
Sam said, "It Was Amazing." Sam lives 10-12 minutes from Marion.
Please continue to keep SAM in your prayers, as she grows in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

👑The CITY OF HOWARD had Their maintenance trucks lined up, MILITARY 🎖️STYLE, this weekend, to be filled with trees that had been blown over all Menasha.

👑FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND POLICE OFFICERS FROM ALL AROUND THE REGION WHERE THE HANDS OF GOD ASSISTING AND DIRECTING RESIDENTS.

👑 On SATURDAY MORNING 'ALONE,' 3500 VOLUNTEERS, from EVERY BACKGROUND possible, lined up, at the previous University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, on Midway Road in Menasha.
👑OFFERING 'THEMSELVES' TO help in whatever capacity necessary.
✔️THEY ALL AGREED to be vetted, with personal ids, paperwork filled out.
👑WANTING TO SHOW LOVE to 'their neighbors,' many of whom they will never know, nor meet. This has been happening, for the past week.

MENASHA IS SEEING GOD WORK AROUND, IN AND THROUGH THE HEARTS OF NORMAL PEOPLE.
👑ALMIGHTY GOD IS DOING HIS WORK BY, AND THROUGH PEOPLE.

👑 People Are, and HAVE BEEN LINED UP, SINCE LAST MONDAY, on Appleton Road in, Menasha with BARBECUES GOING, FOOD BEING MADE, DIAPERS and WATER being given, ETC
it's HEART MOVING and OVERWHELMING, to SEE the GENEROSITY and LOVE BEING DISPLAYED.

“I have learned the secret of being content.” (NIV)

Most all of us would have to admit that at some point or another we have told ourselves that if I could just get more of this or have that, I would finally be happy. Well, there’s a guy named Solomon who would beg to differ with you; a guy who at one point had a net worth of over $2 trillion by today’s measure, but eventually admitted that everything is meaningless and does not satisfy nor bring contentment (Ecclesiastes 1).
Do you know what does bring contentment? That inner sense of peace and rest? It comes from being right with God and knowing that he is in control no matter what, and making it a practice to offer thanks to him every day. It’s not comparing what you don’t have with what others do have but acknowledging in those times that God is more than enough.
Paul taught us about contentment in today’s text, and in short said that contentment is a learned attitude that is obtained through practice—one circumstance at a time, BUT is not dependent upon our circumstances. Contentment is able to overcome our circumstances, but is only sustained through spiritual battle. As Paul said, we gain victory through Christ who gives us the strength to win (Philippians 4:13).
Is Christ more than enough for you today? He really is the only source of true contentment.
