What an exciting day in the life of this church!

We were able to present donation checks to two amazing organizations in our community. Thank you to Rhonda Chandler founder of Lovin The Skin I'm In and Melanie Brick & Michelle Dahlke with Hands Across De Pere for all you do for our community. It is a privilege to aid in your contributions to our community.

Ezekiel 18:21-23
21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. 22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
Matthew 18:21-22
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Sometimes it is not us who sins, but someone else who sins against us. People can hurt us in ways that are so personal and hurtful that it feels as if they could never atone for it. And yet, we look at ourselves and see that the sins that we make have the potential to do exactly the same. And yet, God forgives us. In the same way, God calls us to forgive our neighbors for what they have done against us. Is there anyone in your life that you haven't even considered forgiving? Jesus is calling you to consider forgiveness and unity as an alternative to division. Perhaps you will find that God will work through that person and that healing might happen.
