Only 12 people have signed up to build beds!! We need your help! Can't help build? Please consider donating to help sponsor the St. John Build! St. John is doing a bed build on Saturday, June 6th!
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a non profit organization working to fulfill their motto of “NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!” Do you know that there are currently 140,118 kids on a wait list to get bed?
Each bed costs $250 to build and deliver. Last year, St John raised $8,210 – enough to sponsor 33 beds – and our volunteers actually built 48 beds! Sleep in Heavenly Peace happily supplemented the difference and took advantage of the great volunteers from St John.
Two ways you can help; sign up to volunteer your time for a few hours on 6/6. Volunteers must be 12 years or older and there are tasks to fulfill that fit all skill levels and physical ability!
Secondly, specify an offering to help us raise funds to sponsor another 33 beds. Every donation counts! Please put "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" on the memo line of your check.
