Your past isn’t your prison… it’s proof of God’s redeeming power.

Redemption in Christ means grace is greater than your mistakes, healing is possible, and broken stories become living testimonies. If God brought you through it, He will use it for His glory. Walk in freedom, not shame.

The funeral for Gerry Hall will be this Saturday, February 28 at 11 am, here at Comyn Baptist. Graveside will follow at Comyn Cemetary. There will be no viewing.

See everyone there. Excited to worship with my church family.

Asking those of you with a personal study guide to please write down the things that are meaningful to you and as we read the lesson we can share our findings.
Thank you and will see you tomorrow to learn more about our Lord and sing his praises! Then on to the sermon He has placed on Brother Ray's heart. Blessings! Judy

If you’re feeling anxious today — whether it's because of a long to-do list, fear of failure, or something much bigger or smaller — remember these three truths:

1. God can do more than you imagine. Your worst-case scenarios aren't truth. They’re distractions. Fix your eyes on a God who’s not just “getting you by” but writing a story of grace and redemption in your life, even now.

2. Depending on God means asking for His power and peace every day. Don’t be too busy to talk to the Prince of Peace. Invite Him in. Even a simple prayer — like, Lord, I need You today — can change the atmosphere of your soul.

3. You need His presence more than you need a perfect plan. Talking to a friend can bring you a sense of relief. A walk in the sun is great. Meal prep may help. But what you most need is more of Jesus. Let His presence shape your perspective. Your circumstances may not change, but His power working within you can bring peace in the storm.

When you feel the pressure rise and your thoughts drift to fear, pause and remember: Peace is possible. Not because your schedule is light or everything goes your way but because God's power is real.

Let Him do immeasurably more than all you can ask or imagine.

-Grace Valentine
