Here's a glimpse inside MYM Wednesday nights!

✨ What If These Bible Stories Weren’t Just Stories? ✨
Over the last few weeks in Merge, we’ve been doing something a little different… We’ve been taking the “famous” people we grew up hearing about—Adam & Eve, Noah, Abraham, and Joseph—and looking at them not as flannel-graph characters… but as real humans with real struggles and real faith.

And honestly?
It’s changing the way our students read Scripture.

🌿 Adam & Eve weren’t just the first people.
They were the first humans to wrestle with temptation, regret, blame, shame… and the overwhelming kindness of a God who pursued them anyway.

🌧️ Noah wasn’t just the guy with the big boat.
He was a teenager once. A son. A man trying to follow God when literally everyone around him wasn’t. His story teaches what it looks like to stay faithful when it’s lonely.

⭐ Abraham wasn’t just a “father of nations.”
He doubted. He questioned. He messed up. He waited years for promises he barely understood. And still—God called him, led him, and used him.

🎯 Joseph wasn’t just the kid with the colorful coat.
He was betrayed, forgotten, misunderstood… and yet somehow, every setback became part of God’s setup. Joseph teaches us that the pit isn’t always your prison—sometimes it’s your pathway.

And here’s the coolest part:
Our students aren’t just learning stories—they’re recognizing themselves in these people. They’re realizing Scripture is full of people who felt what they feel…
…struggled how they struggle…
…and still found God right in the middle of it.

This series has opened the door for honest conversations, big questions, and moments where faith feels real and personal.

🍽️ A HUGE THANK YOU to Our MERGE Meal Team! 🍽️

To every single person who has provided dinner for our students on Wednesday nights — THANK YOU. You may not realize it, but you are doing far more than dropping off spaghetti, tacos, or a tray of chicken nuggets.

You’re creating a place where students feel seen before they feel preached to.
You’re helping us build a space where real conversations happen — over full plates and full hearts.
You’re reminding teenagers that there is a church family cheering for them, loving them, and investing in their spiritual growth.

Your meals are ministry.
Your time is ministry.
Your generosity is ministry.

And it matters more than you know. 🙌
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for feeding our kids physically so we can pour into them spiritually. You are part of every salvation, every breakthrough, every moment of growth happening at MERGE.

🔥 MERGE HAS BEEN ON FIRE LATELY! 🔥
The last two weeks before Spring Break were something SPECIAL.

Our Youth Panel Night was absolutely incredible — our students showed up with real questions, real faith, and real courage. And then our Night of Worship … WOW. You could feel the hunger for Jesus in the room. These students are not tiptoeing around their faith anymore — they are diving in headfirst. They’re talking openly about Scripture, about right and wrong, about who Jesus is and who He’s calling them to be. 🙌

This group is different.
This group is family.
And the best part? Our family always has room to grow. 💛

✨ This week: Coach Mims will be joining us with an encouraging message you won’t want to miss.
✨ Next week: We kick off a brand-new 10-week series called Broken Heroes — a deep dive into how God uses imperfect people to tell His perfect story.

Each week we’ll explore a different person from the Bible — their life before God called them, what God did through them, and how their story continued afterward. Our students will be challenged and reminded that God can use them NOW, right where they are. You don’t have to be more mature, more “spiritual,” or have life all figured out.
God doesn’t always call the equipped… but He equips the called.

We’re growing. We’re learning. We’re stepping into purpose together.
And trust me — you’ll want to be part of what God is doing here.

2026 has been SO good to us already! 🙌 Our students just wrapped up our series “The Benefit of Doubt”, and wow… what a ride. They’re stepping into this year more confident in being honest with their questions, more brave in seeking out truth for themselves, and bolder than ever in declaring their love for Jesus. 🔥

This week, we’re hitting pause on our study to do something equally important — listen to each other. 💬✨
Join us February 25th for our Youth Panel Night, where YOUR peers will be answering YOUR questions. Come hear how students your age are navigating the same thoughts, struggles, and situations you face — and how their relationship with Jesus is keeping them grounded in a culture full of chaos.

And we’re not stopping there…
Next week, we’ll follow it up with a Night of Worship — a time to release, recuperate, and receive everything God wants to pour into you. 🤍

We had an incredible night at our MYM Friendsgiving — full of food, laughter, and the kind of fellowship that reminds us why this group is so special. 🧡🔥
Our students continue to show up with servant hearts, genuine joy, and a hunger for community, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

As we head into the holiday, we pray you feel surrounded by God’s goodness and grateful for the people He’s placed in your life.
