Today we celebrated and blessed backpacks, students, teachers and gave thanks for all the school supplies that were donated that will soon be off to our area schools.

Back to School Blessing this Sunday - August 30th
All students, teachers and staff are welcome to bring in their backpacks, lunchboxes, laptop bags etc for a special blessing during worship. It's also the last day we are acception donations to our August School Supply Drive for area students and teachers.

In memory of O. Rolf Olson who served as our Pastor here at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church as well as United In Christ Lutheran Church in Morrisonville from 1967 to 2003. His service will be held here at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow. He will be interred the following day, September 20th, at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah, Iowa and laid to rest with his dear wife Trudy.

On Sunday we blessed all the quilts made over the passed year by our quilting ministry. They are now being delivered to the Dane County Foster Care Program where they are distributed to foster kids in our area communities

Join us this Saturday, August 22nd as we clean up the church inside and out 8 - 10 am. All help is much appreciated as we get rid of clutter, organize closets and get ready for FALL! Many hands make light work!

In the midst of quite the rainstorm Sunday, we had a lovely worship service. We baptized baby Sylas and also welcomed six new members to our congregation! Following worship we celebrated with a delicious church potluck downstairs in our fellowship hall. Thanks to all who came to celebrate, bring food and join in fellowship!

We have a big day this Sunday! We are having a Baptism and welcoming New Members during Worship; then afterwards join us downstairs in our fellowship hall for a celebratory Church Potluck!
