What a way to culminate our resurrection weekend! On Good Friday we hosted our second annual seven last words from the cross service, Saturday we celebrated with your youth by having our community Easter egg hunt, and Sunday we celebrated the Resurrected Savior! And souls were added to the Lords Church. It was a full weekend but all of it was well worth it!

IT’S HOLY WEEK!! In route to resurrection Sunday at “The Ship” we are stopping by the way of Calvary on Friday evening. Be sure to join us this Good Friday for this powerful precursor before Easter Sunday.

Praise God!! The first Leadership meeting of the year at Greater Friendship Baptist Church Daytona was a success!! Over a year ago, God gave our Pastor the vision Friendship Forward” and we saw God amazing things for our church under that vision, from folks receiving salvation, to baptisms, and even MAJOR changes to our physical edifice. This year we are building on that foundation of moving forward. This year the vision has expanded to Greater Friendship Moving Forward, “Serving God Through the Spirit of Excellence!”. We are on the move, SHIFTING GEARS TOWARDS EXCELLENCE!!
