Our Lady of Lourdes is a unique community in that we truly try to put our faith into action. We love the God we cannot see by loving the neighbor we can. We are all at different places in our faith journey, yet we all strive to grow into a deeper relationship with God. We are a community that respects our diversity, each member bringing his or her gifts and talents to build the Kingdom of God here

in Daytona Beach. Our Liturgy is the source and summit of our life in the community. Our faith life is more than just going to church on Sundays. To be a member of Our Lady of Lourdes means to be involved, not only at church, but in the greater community. I invite you to become active in one of our many ministries in our parish as part of your journey into closer relationship with God. Here at Our Lady of Lourdes, we have a team of dedicated, caring ministers ready to assist you in living out your faith. One of our main ministries is the education of children in our fully accredited pre-K through 8th grade school, Lourdes Academy. We hope you will consider our National Blue Ribbon school for your child and help us spread the news of this great ministry. I give thanks to God for sending you to our community and invite you to join us at one of our Masses this weekend. Join us for our 70th Anniversary Alumni, Friends & Family Celebration as we celebrate 70 years of Catholic education! Alumni, families, friends, and supporters are especially invited — but all are welcome.
The celebration begins with 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday, followed by heavy hors d’oeuvres, a presentation by Dr. Steve Dole, special guest Dr. Nancy Tattner joining us from Canada, a look at the future of our school, and tours of the campus.

Deb Gregory, author of Spiritual Wayfinding: 33 Walking Meditations for Navigating Life with Embodied Wisdom, leads us on weekend journey into Ignatian Spirituality by helping us connect more fully to God’s boundless creation in nature. Through guided prayer, meditation, walking prayer, and music, be prepared to stretch yourself, body and soul at the lovely waterside Marywood Retreat Center surrounded by lovely Live Oaks and a chapel overlooking the water. Meals are included. Space is limited.
