Hello I am the First Lady of East Dayton Full Gospel Church of God. God gave me a vision after speaking to my spirit. I heard an audible voice say, “I ask my people to go to the highways and hedges to compel my people, and they are sitting still.” A winter storm was coming. The frigid temperatures stung my face as I walked to my car after service. I knew God was calling me to something much bigger than myself. At first fear gripped my mind. The enemy spoke these words “you’re not strong enough. You will fail these people. You will never control your emotions. God would never call someone like you to a ministry this big.” In that moment I was faced with a decision; do I truly trust God that his word is true, or do I crumble under doubt and who I know God called me to be. I chose to trust God. He has never failed me. I opened the doors of our fellowship hall on January 18, 2026 to the homeless. I drove around the city of Dayton looking for people that needed help. I became known to the homeless community as the crazy white lady that drives around picking up the homeless. In the beginning I thought I was on a small journey. It turns out I was on the path to my purpose. My vision is much bigger than me. It is much bigger than my ability. It is much more than my physical and mental strength can handle, but it’s not too big for my God. I am looking for a building where I can build a nonprofit organization called Renewed Hope Mission. This mission is to first and most importantly introduce the lost, broken, busted, disgusted, hungry, and homeless people to Jesus. My second mission is to house and feed them while giving them the resources they need to transition into a better life with Jesus as their savior. This vision is way too big for me, but all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me. You can be a part of this mission by praying for God’s provision and direction.
