Step back from the bustle of life and join us for our Trails and Truth Retreat on October 16-18!

During the weekend, you'll have lots of time to study God's word and interact with the beautiful horses at our barn. Enjoy mulitple trail rides, load up on a horse carriage, or even take a trip down the zipline. We are so excited to welcome Emily Jensen as our 2026 Women's Retreat Speaker!

Emily is an author, Bible teacher, and podcaster. She co-founded Risen Motherhood, a ministry that encouraged moms with gospel-centered resources, podcasts, and books for nearly a decade. She is the coauthor of books for moms like Risen Motherhood and Gospel Mom, as well as the author of the popular devotional, He Is Strong. Emily loves helping women grow deep in their understanding of God's Word and regularly teaches at women's events. She is currently pursuing a Master of Applied Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Emily and her husband, Brad, live in Ames, Iowa, with their five kids and are members of Cornerstone Church.

We're Hiring!!

Working at Hidden Acres is much more than a paycheck. It's growing professionally and spiritually, becoming a part of a ministry family, and impacting people so they're able to experience the gospel in a unique way. We serve in a beautiful setting that hosts events year round, reaching groups of all ages and backgrounds. Timber Trot registration is NOW OPEN!

Whether you are wanting to run or walk, this course loops through different parts of camp and features plenty of beautiful scenery along the way. Whether this is your first race or if you're a seasoned veteran of 5Ks, this is a great chance to get outside and enjoy nature. The Timber Trot will be held on September 7th; the race begins at 8:00am and check-in begins at 7:00am. We hope to see you there!
