At Hidden Acres, a top priority is the safety of the campers in our care. This year, we have updated our Medication Administration Policy in an effort to continually improve our health and safety systems. All camper medications will be required to be pre-packaged by a pharmacy. Visit our website to learn more and to watch the video explaining our pre-packaged medication process. That’s a wrap on Week 2 of our “Pave The Way” road project. While getting to camp might take a little extra effort right now, we know the end result is worth it.
What began as a dream in Fall 2025 is now becoming reality and it’s been incredible to witness. We’re so grateful for the generous partners and the many hands that have helped make this possible. This project has been thoughtfully planned, prayed over, and carefully carried out which both minimizes disruption for current guests and builds something that will serve for decades to come.

Seeing it all come together has been nothing short of amazing. Safer travels to camp are ahead! Special thanks to Webster County, Fort Dodge Asphalt, and Doyle Construction for making this possible!

Our Spring Blaze Retreat was a special weekend to build friendships, spend time in the sunny outdoors, dive deeper into the word, and so much more!

One of our favorite activities every year has to be our camp-wide selfie scavenger hunt! 📸 Teams get creative, work together, and race around camp completing fun challenges and the results never disappoint. We loved spending the weekend with you and hope this time was encouraging and refreshing.

Spring Training and Leadership Training have been a blast this year! We love having our Summer Staff come to Hidden Acres to be equipped to serve and lead in their summer positions.

This week, we began paving the road to camp—a meaningful step forward for our entire community. We’re grateful for how smoothly everything has progressed so far.

This project will not only make travel more efficient for our staff and guests, but significantly safer as well. By paving the road, we’re reducing the dust and visibility issues that have made travel challenging in the past, especially when vehicles meet along the way.

We’re thankful for God’s provision in every detail and look forward to seeing how this project continues to unfold.

We had an amazing time at our “Just You and Me, Mom!” Retreat! This past weekend was packed with boating, horseback trail rides, wall climbing, cookie baking, and plenty of other fun camp activities. The beautiful spring weather made it even more special, and we hope it was a meaningful, faith-filled opportunity to unplug and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

It’s happening — road construction at camp has officially begun! This week the Schlichting Inn, Dining Hall, and Welcome Center parking lots are getting a new surface! We’re so grateful for every gift that made this possible. Whether you have contributed financially or prayed, you have played a part in making this vision come to life, blessing generations to come with a safer passage into camp. We’re overwhelmed by the steady generosity and are excited to share this milestone!
