Wrapping up our last day of mission work. We went to the schools In Iras. And today we had to very special drivers.. (all I’m going to say about that for now, lol)

There is something very special about the village of Iras. It’s tucked back I. What we would call a holler and kind of isolated. But the teachers and the students are so nice.

We finished our day with taking the youth, who helped us daily, out to eat in Brasov.

And I know my pictures don’t always get to capture the moments in their entirety, but everyone is busy working and interacting with the kids and everyone is such an important part of each class visit.

Another day almost complete in BOD.

Busy, busy, busy
Lost of kids, bible stories taught by Amelia, Elizabeth, bro Mike and Jackie. Dental awareness and hygiene covered by Candy. And the rest of us just worked really hard…

We finished with classes early as they combined the last 2 so as a reward we got to spend the afternoon doing floors.
Then after that we had Bible study and games.
Cathy has several of the ladies crocheting ( probably didn’t spell that correctly)

Good evening from Romania.
No pics to share today. We worked on flooring and cleaning up the area around the new Kindergarten this morning and then took a short break to see Bran’s Castle.
Then all the ladies had study time with the young ladies of Bod while the rest of us went to get some supplies to finish the flooring and doorways.

Background. The school director decided to close the school today for Ascention day. So we had a small hole in our schedule. That means that tomorrow will be a doubly busy day. As we combine the Monday and Tuesday classes.

Sunday in Bod , Romania
We had a great service Sunday morning. Started off with singing, followed by Alex Wells sharing a message. Then some of our team joined in singing and then Bro Mike shared the message.

Then Sunday evening we had time with the women and men. Then we came together for a time of games and fellowship.

Then the teens played till late in the night…. Volleyball, soccer…….
It was a very amazing day!
God is good!

Good evening from BOD Romania.

Today we had kids classes in Iras and Bod.
Mrs Jackie taught the class today and everyone helped with crafts and games. Someone even got to help drive one of the vans.

Finishing up a full day here in BOD. We had 3 classes in Haghig today and then we had an evening with the teens from BOD, Haghig and Iras.

The girls taught the lesson in 2 classes and Bro Mike taught the lesson in the older class.

We had a room full of teens for the evening youth night with a lesson, games and sandwiches.

Tomorrow we have two kids club classes, one in Iras and another one here in BOD.

A good and Purposed slow start today….
You want to hit the ground running, but after 30+ hours of traveling you realize you are more tired that you think and need a day to catch up.

Went shopping to finish up the meals and crafts, anything we couldn’t bring with us, for activities today as well as looked at a small flooring job to finish kindergarten class hall and back room. We visited an old friend and the ladies spent hours getting crafts laid out and organized for the schools classes that start tomorrow.
