He cannot steal your purpose, so he attacks your peace.

That is the tactic. He knows he cannot cancel what God called you to do, so he tries to make you too anxious to do it. He cannot take your purpose, so he tries to take your peace.

That is why your mind has been full of what ifs and worst case scenarios. What if it does not work. What if they leave. What if I fail. When you are anxious, you make emotional decisions, rushed decisions, fear based decisions. You forget who is fighting for you.

But God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7. Jesus said My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives, John 14:27. Philippians 4:7 says the peace of God will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Your God is still more powerful than your what if.

A worried Christian forgets how powerful his God is. Remember today, your God is still in control.
