We honor and thank God for the gift of Pastor Jason. His faithful leadership and commitment to God's word, and his genuine love for our congregation are a blessing to Hope Church. Thank you for shepherding our church with grace, serving with humility and inspiring us to grow in faith. May God continue to guide your steps and strengthen your spirit. May you always feel appreciated and encouraged in the work you do.

During the Month of September, Hope Church will be collecting gently-used clothing for Threads of Miami Valley. Just bring your gently used clothing to any of our Sunday morning services in September. We will have collection areas set up for you.

Threads provides essential clothing to individuals and families in need at no cost, promoting dignity and hope. Through community collaboration and support, they empower those we serve by eliminating clothing insecurities.

We are so proud!

United congratulates Rev. Dr. Luther Oconer on being elected a bishop in the Global Methodist Church during the denomination's General Conference, currently taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Rev. Dr. Oconer previously served on the faculty of United Theological Seminary where he directed the Center for Evangelical United Brethren Heritage. He also taught in the areas of Methodist Studies, the Holiness Movement, the Pentecostal/Charismatic Movement, and church renewal. In 2025, Dr. Oconer returned to United as the presenter for the 14th annual Holy Spirit Seminar.

Speaking after his election with United's President, Rev. Dr. Mark Teasdale, Rev. Dr. Oconer said: "United took a chance on me when I was still pastoring. I am grateful to continue to be claimed by United."
