We often waste our prayers begging God to remove us from situations that He actually designed to develop us. Next time you find yourself in a season of pressure, don't just pray for an escape route. Pray for the right words. Pray for faith and endurance. The enemy wants you to complain your way out, but God wants this situation to grow you.

Paul writes this from a jail cell, yet he doesn't ask people to pray for his release. He asks for boldness to keep speaking.

In Ephesians 6:18-20, Paul says "all" four times in one sentence: all times, all prayer, all perseverance, all the saints. This isn't a technique to master, it's a posture the Spirit holds open for us, even when (especially when) prayer feels impossible.

Even Psalm 88, the one psalm that never resolves and ends in the dark, still counts as prayer. There's no request too raw and no silence too long that puts you outside his reach.

Whether you have a boss or you are the boss, we are all under authority. Jesus is the ultimate authority.

Authority is not unlimited. When anyone with authority over you commands what God forbids, obedience to God comes first.

Peter and the apostles, ordered by the ruling council to stop preaching. Refusing an authority that overreaches is not rebellion. It is the higher obedience.

Loyalty to your employer is not the same as loyalty to Jesus.
