Mrs. Bianco, a First Grade teacher at Spring Valley Academy, is one of the over 80 amazing educators in the Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She's "buzzing" around getting her hive ready for a bunch of "busy bees" who'll arrive in a little over a week's time.

Over the course of the next two weeks, classrooms will transform into highly optimized learning environments that will help shape the minds and lives of over 1,100 students across the conference. Please pray for all our schools, but especially for our teachers as they do the "hard work" it takes to ensure our young people have a wonderful learning experience.

Every church has a school waiting to be adopted.

That's the heart of Adopt a School: our commitment to seeing every single church in the Ohio Conference become part of a school family, not just a name on a donor list, but a real, ongoing part of our students' education and their lives.

When a church adopts a school, it shows up. It prays by name for a teacher having a hard week. It shows up for a field day, a program, a Friday afternoon that didn't need to happen but did anyway. It becomes part of a kid's story, not just a line in a budget.

We're already seeing churches and schools build that bond across the state, and watching our schools, our churches, our young people, and our constituents come together for something this meaningful has been one of the best parts of this work.

Ten years ago, Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists schools served about 700 students. Today? Nearly 1,150, across 11 schools.

That's not a coincidence. That's a community that refused to shrink its vision. 🌱

Today, we're proud to release "A New Foundation for Ohio Adventist Schools," our strategic roadmap for the next 5–10 years. It's built on seven pillars and one unshakable mission: raising kids who think clearly, love deeply, and walk with God in a world that keeps trying to talk them out of all three.

Ten years ago, our schools served about 700 students. Today it's nearly 1,150, across 11 schools that keep proving what's possible when a community refuses to shrink its vision.

That kind of growth deserves a plan worthy of it. Today we're releasing "A New Foundation for Ohio Adventist Schools," our strategic roadmap for the next five to ten years. Seven pillars. One mission: raising kids who think clearly, love deeply, and walk with God in a world that keeps trying to talk them out of all three.

The Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is super proud of our Spring Valley Academy High School educator, Mr. Dillon Zimmerman for his WELL DESERVED award as "Secondary Educator of the Year" in the Columbia Union. What a tremendous honor it is for our conference to have such amazing educators working alongside our students. We also want to extend congratulations to the other winners across the Columbia Union.
