We MISREPRESENT GOD when we wear HIS name but not HIS character. It is a dangerous thing to claim to belong to CHRIST while living in a way that contradicts HIM. When people see us, they form their opinion of GOD by how we live, speak, and love.

If we say we follow JESUS but our words are harsh, our hearts are proud, and our actions are selfish, we do not reflect the SAVIOR we claim to serve.
In Scripture, the LORD told HIS people not to take HIS name in vain—not just with careless speech, but with careless living.

To bear HIS name is to carry HIS reputation. We dishonor HIS holiness when our lives look more like the world than like CHRIST. The world does not need more people who merely speak about GOD; it needs people who live filled with HIS Spirit, showing mercy, walking humbly, and standing for truth.
If we truly know GOD, HIS love will shape our hearts, HIS holiness will restrain our sin, and HIS grace will shine through us.

May we never be guilty of wearing HIS name while denying HIS nature. Let the world see GOD in us—not because we are perfect, but because we are surrendered.
