Good morning, church family and friends! We are grateful for God bringing us safely through another week. Please come join us as we give our thanks, praise, and adoration to Him on Sunday morning.

Senior Pastor Tim McAvoy will deliver the morning message entitled "Dress for Success" based on Colossians 3:12-17. Supporting Scriptures are taken from 1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 4:20-24, 6:11-13; 2 Peter1:5-7; Hebrews 12:14,18-19; 1 Thessalonians 5:18; and Philippians 4:6.

The ladies Proverbs 32 meeting is tomorrow morning at 9:00 in the church social hall. A light breakfast is included along with teaching, worship, and fellowship together. If you have never attended, we invite you to join us!

There is also a membership orientation class Saturday morning at 11:00. If you're not a member, but would like to learn more about the mission and vision of our church, we encourage you to attend. A church directory photo opportunity will be offered.

VFC youth picnic is Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 for grades 7 to 12 including parents and/ or grandparents. Included with the picnic will be games and a Bible lesson.

As we look beyond this weekend, the next Sunday, September 20th, is Baptism Sunday and the church picnic. We have lots of activities ahead, so please check the church calendar of events at our website to keep up with everything! It's going to be a busy and exciting fall!

Welcome to the end of another week! We'd love to have you join us on Sunday to hear Senior Pastor Tim McAvoy deliver the morning message entitled " We Have Toiled All Night " based on Luke 5:1-11. Supporting Scriptures may be found in Hebrews 12:1-3; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Philippians 3:12-14; Romans 8:29-30; Colossians 3:17, 23-24; Matthew 11:28-30; Mark 2:23-28; Hebrews 4:10-11; and Matthew 6:19-34.

You are invited to come be a part of the adult Sunday school class, led by Dennis Stover, which meets at 9:00 a.m. in the downstairs social hall on Sunday morning. We also encourage you to come to our Thursday morning Bible study which is led by Pastor Tim. For those of you who are early morning people or need to go to work, the first Bible study session begins at 6:30 a.m. The second session begins at 11:00 a.m. Both groups meet in the downstairs social hall and last for one hour. It has quickly become, for those already attending, one of their favorite times during the week. Come find out what you're missing out on!

Happy Friday everyone! We hope that you have had a good week. We invite you to join us this last Sunday in August as we prepare to turn the page on summer and move into fall. Retired Founding Pastor Sonny Henkel will be delivering the morning message entitled "The House Where You Live" based on Colossians 3:22-25. Supporting Scripture is from 2 Corinthians 4:18.

We have a lot of activities scheduled during September and beyond that you have the opportunity to participate in, so we encourage you to go to the church website and look at the calendar of events. Mark your calendars and be ready for all our exciting fall events!

Good Friday morning everyone! We pray that you've had a good week and are looking forward to coming together again on Sunday morning to worship our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Senior Pastor Tim McAvoy will be delivering the August 23 morning message entitled "This Is Amazing Grace " based on Ephesians 2:8-10. Supporting Scriptures for his sermon may be found in 2 Cor.5:17,21; Romans 8:16-17; John 10:27-29; and 1 John 5:4-5,13. We look forward to having you be a part of our worship celebration!

The adult Sunday school class meets on the lower level at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Our adult Bible study groups meet, also on the lower level, on Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m ( for those who work or like to get an early start on the day) and also at 11:00 a.m. If you have never participated in these groups, you have not yet discovered what you're missing out on! Come check them out, and we think you'll soon agree that it will quickly become one of your favorite times in the week!
