We believe the Bible to be God's written revelation of Himself to mankind and our guide in all matters of faith; therefore, we look to the Bible as our highest authority for doctrine, practice, organization, and di

scipline. The Church of God of Prophecy is firm in its commitment to orthodox Christian belief. We affirm that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in the physical miracles He performed, in His atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory at His Second Coming. We profess that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of sinful man. We believe that sanctification by the blood of Christ makes possible personal holiness. We affirm the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling we are able to live godly lives and have power for service. We believe in the ultimate unity of believers, as prayed for by our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17. We believe in the sanctity of human life; we are also committed to the sanctity of the marriage bond and the importance of strong, loving Christian families.

The Tennessee Church of God of Prophecy is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Brogden as pastor of Family Worship Center COGOP in Dayton, Tennessee, effective immediately.

Rick and Martha Brogden first met as children during a Vacation Bible School and later married in the same church after graduating high school. This June 30th, they will celebrate 53 years of marriage. They are parents to a son and daughter, and proud grandparents of six grandchildren who “keep a pep in their step.”
Throughout their marriage, Rick and Martha have served in nearly every role within the local church. Their pastoral ministry began in North Carolina in 1996, where they shepherded three congregations before moving to Tennessee in 2009 to continue pastoring until their retirement in 2018. After returning to their home in North Carolina, Rick began serving through the
NC State Office in 2023, honoring retired pastors and ministers across the state.

We welcome them into this new season of ministry. We look forward to all He will accomplish through Pastor Brogden’s leadership.

Good evening Family Worship Center. I pray you are all staying warm and safe this evening. Due to freezing temperatures and roads icing over, there will be no worship service tomorrow February 1st. I encourage everyone to take time a pray and get in to God’s word. We look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday night for bible study at 6:30pm.

Good evening Family Worship Center. Just wanted to let everyone know that due to the possibility of inclement weather and sickness, we will not be having service tomorrow January 25th. We will be starting our Wednesday night bible study back beginning Wednesday January 28th at 6:30pm. I pray everyone stays warm and safe. God bless.
