Hello all!

Here we are in 2026, and we want to sincerely apologize for not being able to host our "New Year, New Love, New Me" Ladies February Event due to circumstances beyond our control.

As we move forward into this new year, we are excited to share that we will be introducing a Morning Fellowship for our ladies called "Coffee with Jesus". This will be a special time for women to gather together for fellowship, coffee, tea, donuts, danishes, and laughter. A time to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and grow closer to one another.

We will also have our "Women of Grace" ladies event in May. We have changed the name from "Mother/Daughter Tea" to this because we recognize that it is not only mothers who mentor and extend God's grace. Many women without children of their own have poured love, guidance, and nurturing into others. These women deserve recognition as "Women of Grace"

In June, we will introduce a men's event called, "Fishers' of Men". The ladies of Unity Baptist Church are excited to host this special event honoring the men in their roles as fathers, grandfathers, husbands, uncles, brothers, mentors, and more-along with their sons, grandsons, nephews, and the young men they influence.

Ladies, we will be doing our "Fall Back with Jesus" event in October this year and it will be on a Saturday. Those plans are still being made, so look for future announcements for times.

We truly enjoyed spending time with each of you last year and look forward to seeing you again throughout the year. Follow our page for future updates and events!

UNITY BAPTIST CHURCH WEATHER UPDATE
January 24, 2026, 12:00 PM

—The weather predictions for tomorrow morning have not improved. There is a high probability of rain and freezing rain from 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM. This could lead roadways to be hazardous. Even if the roadways are clear, bridge decks are very likely to become slick and unsafe. The temperature will remain at freezing or below for the remainder of Sunday

— Out of an abundance of caution, we will cancel in-person services at Unity Baptist Church tomorrow. We will have a morning worship service at 11:00 A.M. via ZOOM teleconferencing.

— The Women’s meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon is postponed until the following Sunday, February 1, 2026.

— Pray for the safety of our community and those who may be vulnerable during this weather.
