During last Sunday's sermon, Pastor Russell reminded us that we should expect extraordinary things from God. The God of the Bible is the same God of the today, and while fear or past disappointments can lower our expectations, God wants to work mightily in our lives. Walk by faith and not by sight, expecting something great from Him!

Our youth group had a great week at summer camp at Lee University! Thank you to the adult chaperones who sacrificed time and sleep to accompany them — and thank you, Etowah Church, for faithfully GIVING so our students could GO and GROW!

Sermon: Living the Transformed Life

On Sunday, Pastor Russell shared a sermon on the Christ's atonement for our sin. The word "atonement" means "to cover." When Jesus died on the cross, He atoned for, or covered, our sins so that we could be made righteous in the sight of God. What a beautiful gift!

We're excited to celebrate our 2026 graduates with a taco lunch this Sunday! During our usual 11:00 worship service, we'll recognize our Etowah Church kindergarten, middle school, high school, technical school, and college grads. Then we'll continue the celebration with a Mexican-themed lunch. Everyone is welcome to stay and eat! The church will provide taco meat, tortillas/hard taco shells, and toppings.
