1. James 1:22

2. Believe that Jesus is the son of God: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

3. Repent of your sins: "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you shall all likewise perish." - Luke 1

4. Confess that Jesus is the son of God: "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 10:32

5. Be Baptized for the remission of sins: "And Peter said unto them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" - Acts 2:38

6. Live Faithfully: "Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." - Romans 6:4
