Tuesday August 25 – Lesson 17: FORGIVE ❤️

Lesson 17 focuses on the freedom found through forgiveness. It explores Principle 6 and Steps 8 & 9, helping us evaluate our relationships, forgive those who have hurt us, and make amends where appropriate.

True freedom comes from working through three important areas of forgiveness:
🙏 Accepting God’s forgiveness and grace
💛 Forgiving those who have hurt us
❤️ Learning to forgive ourselves

Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it can change our future. Join us Tuesday as we continue our journey toward healing, freedom, and restoration through Christ! ✝️

Growing up in a migrant family in California with an alcoholic and emotionally distant father whom he feared, Hector learned dysfunctional ways of relating to others. Through Celebrate Recovery, he discovered how to break those unhealthy patterns, find healing, and learn a new way of relating to others through God’s grace.

This Tuesday, we’ll be talking about Lesson 16 – AMENDS, focusing on Principle 6 and Step 8.

Amends is about taking an honest look at our relationships, offering forgiveness, and taking responsibility for the hurt we have caused others. It’s about clearing away the wreckage of the past, owning our part without excuses, and allowing God to bring healing and peace.
