Davis Christian Assembly A "welcommunity" of imperfect, mercied, people-in-progress, who are implanted in the love of Jesus. Our church has basically been re-built from the ground up.

Even though our church has been in Davis since the early 50‘s and at it’s present location since 1965, our church had a new start when my wife and I came in September of 1991. And, something we believe very strongly and is absolutely true; the church is the people, not

the building. So, when it comes to our church, to our people, we have a huge turnaround because so many are college age or young families and so many move on from here to settle all over the world. If you are older and don’t plan to go anywhere soon, please know that you are needed and welcome in our church. We strive to make everything about our celebration a building experience for all that come to participate. We sing many songs that praise and express worship to God. He is wonderful and we acknowledge this fact through community celebration. Our expression is exuberant and grateful. We prefer one another and contribute to an experience that is mutually beneficial and encouraging. We pray for people’s needs and ask God for miracles and blessings. We spend time listening and learning from the Bible through preaching and teaching that is in plain language, humorous, applicable and communicates to the soul. And we pray. This too is key to an active relationship with God. Prayer is like conversation. It is speaking and listening to God and vital to a personal relationship with Jesus.
