Boys Residential Program - We couldn’t agree more…nobody is perfect. We could all benefit from community and support in the journey of parenting. It’s the heart of why the program was created, because we understand and know that being able to intervene and come alongside parents during these challenging times can be of tremendous blessing and help to both the child and the family as a whole.

Boys Residential Program- Series Pt. 2 - Today we’re sharing a little bit of insight into the dynamic of partnering with the parents to ensure the program is a success. Our house parents share some of the simple ways they come alongside the parents to make them feel at peace with the process and the beautiful outcome that comes out of that partnership. March was an empowering month for our single parent ministry! 🌟 Our self-defense training class not only equipped moms with essential skills but also provided clarity on the importance of personal safety. It was heartwarming to see everyone engaged and enjoying the experience, encouraging a sense of community and support.

A huge thank you to Vertical Church for their generous donation of gift baskets for our raffle and special gifts for the moms to take home! 🎁 We’re excited for the mom’s that were able to sign up for the upcoming 6-week course—let’s continue this journey of empowerment together! 💪❤️

Sheridan House was born in 1968 with the mission to help children and families! The first step towards that was a Boy’s Residential Program to help at risk youth. Here we are today continuing that mission over 50 years later. We feel so blessed to have impacted the lives of so many boys and to come alongside their parents to help support and encourage them on the challenging yet blessed journey of parenting.
