This is a page for Davidson UMC's ministry with young adults and young families (people in their 20s and 30s). Whatever your family looks like, whether you are single, married with 2.5 children or raising children on your own, you are welcome! We hope to use this page to share about our young adult ministry opportunities ministries, particularly the Wednesday Night Young Family Group and the Young

Hi Friends! There will be a Community Prayer Vigil for the North Meck/South Iredell community this evening, September 20, at 7:00 PM on the Davidson Village Green. We need help getting the word out. Could you please Like and Share? We will be making Cleaning Kits for victims of Hurricane Florence as part of our prayerful response! Please come and help!

Are you feeling a little tug or call to journey alongside children on their faith journey? We learn so much from teaching children and the Children’s Ministry at DUMC needs you! If you are at least 18 years old and a high school graduate, we ask you to prayerfully consider filling one of the remaining 12 volunteer positions by serving in a classroom on Sunday mornings once a month from 9:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

*Most of our volunteers commit to once a month (some commit to more)
*Volunteers are in control of which Sundays they serve
*Curriculum, supplies and training are provided
*Where is the greatest need, you ask? There are opportunities in Preschool, Younger Elementary and Godly Play, (mixed age Montessori-style classes.)

It is a small time commitment that yields big and eternal rewards for the children and for you!
