TKT’S ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE

This year, as we did last year, we invite you to join us in fulfilling the mitzvah to feed the hungry. We are collecting nonperishable items for two vital local charities, Neighborhood Care Center in Cornelius and Ángels & Sparrows in Huntersville.
Donation bags were already distributed at Religious School and at Rosh Hashanah services. They will algo be given out at Yom Kippur services. Please return your filled bags to the temple between Sunday, September 21st and Sunday, October 5th. If it is easier for you, a grocery store gift card (perhaps for $25) is also a wonderful way to contribute.
Kindly remember to make your drop-offs any day during this period except for Mondays, as the temple is closed. Your generosity helps our entire community.

Last night Dara and Rabbi Becca attended Lake Norman Woman Magazine's gala. Out of over 100 nominations, Rabbi Becca was one of 4 finalists for the inaugural Woman of the Year! She does so much for our community, and it is so wonderful to see her get recognition for her work and passion. What a great way to kick off the High Holidays! Go Becca!

Hello from the Warsaw JCC! Rabbi Becca is in Poland with a group of Jewish students from for spring break. They’re on a tour led by Kaja from the and they’re having an awesome time getting to know the Jewish community here in Warsaw!

That’s a wrap on our second annual family retreat! It was so special spending the weekend together, doing fun activities and getting to know each other better. Some highlights: capture the flag, laser tag, comic book art with and hanging out and laughing! Thank you .gullatta for organizing such an incredible experience for everyone.
