Seminarian of the Week!

Cody Hein from St. Mary's Catholic Church David City NE.

As a child, Cody wanted to be a doctor. He graduated from Aquinas High School and attended Wayne State College.

He is now in Theology 3 at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Ambler, Pa.

Favorite class in seminary: Theological and Moral Virtues

Favorite saint and why: St. Paul, because his conversion shows us how merciful God is to each one of his children, and he is my Confirmation saint.

Favorite prayer and why: The Surrender Novena because it reminds me that God is the one in control.

Best advice I have received regarding discerning my vocation: God will not make you do something that will make you unhappy.

My advice to those who may be considering seminary: Spend time with our Lord in silence before the Most Blessed Sacrament in adoration.
